What is a wetroom?
It’s a bespoke shower area, it is a room or part of a room that is designed for washing with a walk in shower, waterproofed surfaces and drainage system.
Do I need a pump?
Only when you don’t have the space to let water run down hill and need to push it back up hill or when you do not have much water pressure coming into the house.
Do you have DWG files available?
We are not in a position to give these out at this moment in time.
Do you have CAD drawings available that I can look at?
No, we currently do not have CAD drawings.
Do you offer an installation service?
No we only sell the products; you will have to get someone to install them. We do have installation instructions to help you out if they are needed.
Can you help with bathroom design?
Yes we have a great technical team all ready and waiting to help you as much as possible.
What adhesives can be used when fitting eforms or waterproofing?
There is only one adhesive that we would recommend when fitting gradient boards or waterproofing, and that is Cementitious powder tile adhesive (Not pre Mixed). Ideally flexible tile adhesive to ensure that it will flex with any floor movement.
Do other flush plate manufacturers produce products that are compatible with Tece Frames and Cisterns?
There are a few different companies that produce flush plates that are compatible with Tece frames and cisterns. 1 of which is CEA Design.
Does Tece have any solutions to compensate for this?
Yes, Tece have developed a set of throttle controls that can be fitted into the water outlet locator cage in the bottom of the cistern. There is also a water volume outlet controller switch on the rear of the water outlet module.
What Adhesive should be used with Aquaguard waterproofing?
There are many different adhesives that could be used, but we would advise (based on the information supplied by the manufacturer), a cementitious powder adhesive (not Pre Mixed), such as flexible tile adhesive. This can be used on all Waterproofing membranes that we supply.
