BISHOPSTROW HOUSE, WILTSHIRE
A quintessentially English Georgian country house set in 18th century landscaped gardens, Bishopstrow House is an exclusive country retreat in the heart of Wiltshire.
In December 2011 we were approached by Kerry Chapman of Richman Design about refurbishing part of Bishopstrow House, part of Longleat Hotels. Offering exclusive dining, individual luxury bedrooms, and an excellent spa, the bedroom refurbishment required a superior design with 1st class wet room showers.
With a 12 week programme starting almost immediately, Bathroom Engineering were asked to review, assess and specify discrete floor drains for a mixture of concrete and suspended timber floors, using the ‘Engineer it for You’ service.
Issued with some room plans and site dimensions, Bathroom Engineering calculated the likely flow rates, planned the location, direction & angle of the floor gradients and as well as identifying the best products for each room.
With strict budget targets and needing to ensure the final installation was gorgeous & discrete, we suggested using a mixture of TEGEL and TAF2 floor drains to create a uniform look despite the different substrates. In addition, eForm 22 gradient boards and AquaeGUARD waterproofing were specified to ensure all elements of the wet room showers were installed quickly, consistently and to the highest possible standard.
Supplied from stock, the order was delivered on time and within budget to complete a fantastic transformation of the bathrooms to produce the ultimate in wet room shower sophistication.
