There are many different surfaces that Aquaseal can be used on. Some of these are plywood, plaster, concrete, timber, stone and more. To further seal the surface and give the Aquaseal more purchase on it, a coating of PVA glue or such could be applied to the surface prior to using the Aquaseal.

There is no better or worse solution out of the above 2. They both do exactly the same thing but are applied in different ways. The internal corner piece is used at the base of a recessed wall such as a joining wall in a 2 or 3 wall shower area. The external corner piece is used at the base of a protruding wall such as a dividing wall.
There is more jointing tape in the Aquaguard kit as this is a laid down sheet waterproofing and as such, may require more cuts and joints that will need sealing. With Aquaseal, it is a paint that will cover all areas without the need for cuts and so on.
