Are your floor formers all right to use with under floor heating?
Yes if beneath the eforms they won’t cause any damage but the eform is insulating by its nature, so heat won’t get through.
Do you offer an installation service?
No we only sell the products; you will have to get someone to install them. We do have installation instructions to help you out if they are needed.
Can you help with bathroom design?
Yes we have a great technical team all ready and waiting to help you as much as possible.
What adhesives can be used when fitting eforms or waterproofing?
There is only one adhesive that we would recommend when fitting gradient boards or waterproofing, and that is Cementitious powder tile adhesive (Not pre Mixed). Ideally flexible tile adhesive to ensure that it will flex with any floor movement.
Do I need additional waterproofing if eforms are already waterproof?
Yes, while eforms are waterproofed, it is highly recommended that additional waterproofing is applied as there would be cracks between the eforms if more than one is used when creating the wetroom. Water could also go around the eforms as they have no membrane that would travel up the wall or onto adjoining products.
Which Flush Plates are compatible with Tece Cisterns and Frames?
All Tece Flush Plates are compatible with all Tece cisterns and frames. As opposed to competitor frames that require specific plates dependant on the models. The Exception to this is any of our electronic plates, i.e. Planus electronic as this will not fit onto the slimline cistern due to the motor not fitting into the cistern [...]
Do Tece Flush Plates fit onto Non Tece Cisterns and Frames?
A company called Toto uses a frame produced by Tece and this will accommodate the entire Tece Flush plate range. However, there are no competitor frames or cisterns (Excepting Toto) that will accommodate the Tece Frame.
Do other flush plate manufacturers produce products that are compatible with Tece Frames and Cisterns?
There are a few different companies that produce flush plates that are compatible with Tece frames and cisterns. 1 of which is CEA Design.
Are there Spares available for the Tece Cisterns and Frames?
There is a full range of spares available for Tece cisterns and Frames. This means if a product is faulty, it can be repaired easily without meaning having to replace the entire cistern and/or frame
What toilet pans are compatible with Tece Frames?
