There are many different adhesives that could be used, but we would advise (based on the information supplied by the manufacturer), a cementitious powder adhesive (not Pre Mixed), such as flexible tile adhesive. This can be used on all Waterproofing membranes that we supply.

Ideally yes. While not critical, we would suggest that waterproofing should be fitted to the entire bathroom area, as steam will most likely cover every wall. The rest of the bathroom area will not be subject to the same volume of water as the shower area, but over time, water seepage may become an issue.

There are many different surfaces that Aquaseal can be used on. Some of these are plywood, plaster, concrete, timber, stone and more. To further seal the surface and give the Aquaseal more purchase on it, a coating of PVA glue or such could be applied to the surface prior to using the Aquaseal.

The internal corner piece is used at the base of a recessed wall such as a joining wall in a 2 or 3 wall shower area. The external corner piece is used at the base of a protruding wall such as a dividing wall.
There is more jointing tape in the Aquaguard kit as this is a laid down sheet waterproofing and as such, may require more cuts and joints that will need sealing. With Aquaseal, it is a paint that will cover all areas without the need for cuts and so on.
